THOMAS KEATING: A RISING TIDE OF SILENCE
Thomas Keating is a Trappist monk and priest, he is seen by many as a
key figure in contemporary Catholic mysticism, strongly involved in
inter-religoues dialogs and with other monks, he has established
“Centering Prayer”, a contemporary form of the Christian contemplative
tradition.
Father Thomas Keating is a Former abbot of St. Joseph’s Abbey,
Spencer, MA. Along with Thomas Merton and Raimon Panikkar and Ferenc
Jalics seen as a keen proponent of interfaith understanding.
Current documentary is a reflective portrait of him.
